The largest Zoo in the Istanbul region, housing over 2000 species of animal and 8000 species of plant life. Here they allow animals to live peacefully without fear of lack of food and cultivate plant life they may be destroyed and lost in the wild.
Due to this the zoo’s aim is to educate those who visit about the environment and our impact, they also play a role in the protection and preservation of the Kocaeli and greater Istanbul area where possible.
