Paros Island
Paros is a small island approximately 4 hours from Athens. It is renowned for its ideal sandy beaches, white marble and its windsurfing, however, it has plenty more to offer with its quaint fishing harbours, ancient archaeological sites dating back to 3,000 BCE and its traditional villages. If it’s nightlife you want, Naoussa village and Paros village are the places to be with clubs and bars open all night and some of the best beaches right on your doorstep. If you want a break from all that partying then a visit to the villages Lefkes and Marpissa is a great way to relax and soak up the culture. Another way to take some time out is to head over to the southeastern side of the island where you can soak up the sun and enjoy watching the windsurfing championships which are held there every summer.
